Enrolling your child is a simple process, should you have any questions or need any help please get in touch.
Enrolment Visits: Enquiring whānau are invited to come in and see the centre in action. Spend some time exploring our space and gain a sense of who we are and what we do to support tamariki.
After your visit, please phone us back with and queries you may have. It is our aim to give you all the support we can to create clear understandings of home and centre expectations to ensure a strong partnership is established and maintained.
Download and complete an initial enrolment form indicating the booking you need. (This form is an application for a place, though a place is not guaranteed until you receive the enrolment pack from the office.)
Confirmation of booking made by the centre. Enrolment pack is given to you to complete and return to the office. Please provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate and a record of any immunisations completed as it is a Ministry requirement that we have a copy of these.
Pre-entry visits. Minimum of two visits required for you to:
a) discuss and complete the booking requirements, payment procedures, general centre policies, and any other queries whānau may have.
b) meet the teachers and become familiar with the routines of the whare.
Booking commences.
What to bring: Where appropriate, please supply nappies for your child. Staff will advise you when they require more nappies. If you run out, the nappies will be supplied by the centre at $1.00 each.
We ask that you bring at least one change of clothes for your child. We would appreciate if your child’s clothing is named including footwear, jackets, socks, and underwear. Please supply a sun hat for the summer period and wet weather footwear and clothes for the winter periods.
On your child’s first day, they will be supplied with a green wet-bag. Please keep this attached to your child’s bag. When washing the wet-bag, it is best washed in a hot wash.
